This project is for TDC Motor works, a local car repair shop, operated by a women for women. This project will be thinking of ways to successful identify and communicate to TDC's target audience.
The Owner of TDC is Jamie, a soldier from Colorado.
Jamie Likes the idea of Rosie the Riveter, a classic image of a strong, yet beautiful woman, to entice women to come to her shop, but to not segregate the male demographic.
So that is where I began, researching, sketching, and looking at the classic icon of Rosie.
My next step will be to see in what ways I can change this Iconic figure to give TDC a more unique design, with out changing what she represents.
I also began to explore typography looking into ways to get a retro feel while maintaining readability.
